More Information About AWA
Supporting women artists in southern Louisiana
Women interested in the purposes of the AWA may become General Members by application to the membership committee with a current member as a sponsor. This committee will present applications to the Executive Board for voting purposes each April and letters of approval or denial will be mailed after that time. Membership requires the annual payment of dues, active atttendance at meetings, and active participation on a least one committee. After membership of six months, a member may apply to become an Exhibiting Member, which entitles her to participate in AWA exhibits.
